Email Signature

All PLS staff need to update their email signatures as outlined in the PLS Style Guide for internal and external messages. This ensures we are all representing our brand consistently. 

Microsoft does not sync consistently across desktop, web and mobile. Depending on which platform(s) you use, you may need to create a signature in each location. 
You may follow the directions below or visit Microsoft's Instructions

Outlook Desktop
  1. Copy your signature from the email you received from signature@pioneerlibrarysystem.org
  2. Open a new email message
  3. On the Message menu, select Signature>Signatures
  4. Under Select signature, choose New

  5. Type a name for your signature
  6. Paste your signature into the Edit signature field

  7. Under Choose default signature, select your signature for New messages and Replies/forwards and select OK

Outlook Web

  1. Copy your signature from the email you received from signature@pioneerlibrarysystem.org
  2. Select Settings>View all Outlook settings>Compose and reply

  3. Under Mail>Compose and reply>Email signature, select New signature

  4. Type a name for your signature
  5. Paste your signature into the field

  6. Under Select default signatures, select your signature for New Messages and Replies/Forwards and select Save

Office365 Mobile 
Instructions vary by device.
Android and Ipad Example:

  1. Copy your signature from the email you received from signature@pioneerlibrarysystem.org
  2. Touch the Office symbol or your Initial in the top left corner
      
  3. Select the settings gear icon
       
  4. Select Signature
      
  5. Select and delete any pre-existing text, and paste your signature into the field and click check to save
      

Mail App iOS
  1. Copy your signature from the email you received from signature@pioneerlibrarysystem.org
  2. Open Settings

  3. Select Mail icon

  4. Select Signature
  5. Select the field, delete any pre-existing text and paste your signature
